Short Curriculum:
In 2009, First-class BA in Translation and Teaching Italian as foreign language - University of Palermo. In 2010, he attends a Summer School on "C.A.T. Tools (computer assisted translation tools) at the Language Centre of Athenaeum, University of Palermo and obtains the SDL Trados Certification (I and II level). In 2011 he is Erasmus student at the Department of Italian, Royal Holloway, University of London. In 2011, First-class honours MA in Foreign Languages and Translation for International Communication - University of Palermo. In 2013, First-class PGC in Neurosciences applied to Foreign Languages Didactics, with a dissertation on “The Teaching of Intonation through non-auditory canal” - Dpt. of Linguistic and Philological Sciences, University of Palermo; Dpt. of Mental Health, Pathological Dependece and Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry, ASP 6, Palermo; Dpt. de Teoria de los Lenguajes y Ciencias de la Comunicacion, Universitat de Valencia. He supervised the edition of "Guidelines for Foreign Language Teachers", Appendix to the volume "Neurodidattica, Lingua e Apprendimento" (Compagno G., F. Di Gesù 2013, Palermo: Aracne), and contributed with a brief introduction on "Cognitive Linguistics". Since October 2013, he is PHD student at CRIL, DReAM Lab, University of Salento - doctoral programme in "Studi linguistici, Storico-Letterari e Interculturali", curriculum Phonetics and Phonology - supervisor: Prof. Barbara Gili Fivela
